Description:

Darcie Kent Vineyards, based in Livermore California, is seeking an experienced, dynamic Purchasing Director to facilitate its growth trajectory across its diversified AG-related businesses. This role will work closely with department heads to ensure timely procurement of items needed for all aspects of the Kent Family enterprises. This also includes maintaining vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the quality of all purchased items.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the Company’s purchasing functions across its businesses.

· Establish and manage vendor relationships.

· Lead the development of the Company’s merchandising strategy.

· Collaborate with the Accounting team to process invoices and payments.

· Contribute analysis related to the merchandising strategy.

· Perform ad hoc research related to it’s the merchandising strategy.

· Attend conferences on behalf of the company.

· Contribute to the company’s compliance operations as necessary.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Management Team.

Qualifications:

· Proven track record of managing a merchandising operation.

· Experience working with enterprise level software packages.

· Experience establishing processes for rapidly growing businesses.

· Demonstrated proficiency is supervising and motivating subordinates.

· Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication skills, ambitious, outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic and goal oriented.

· Service driven and focused on providing world-class customer experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
